HALOBDG.com – Kapan liga Inggris digelar? Itulah pertanyaan yang ada dibenak para penggemar sepak bola khususnya di Liga Primier.
Setelah gelaran Euro 2020 berakhir, kini perhatian penggemar sepakbola pun terarah ke kompetisi lokal, salah satunya Liga Premier yang akan segera dimulai Agustus mendatang.
Kalau musim lalu pandemi telah memaksa jadwal sepakbola Primier Legaue dipadatkan, maka musim nanti jadwal kompetisi Liga Premier akan kembali normal.
Mengutip laman fourfourtwo.com, Kamis, kompetisi Liga Premier musim 2021/2022 akan dimulai Jumat 13 Agustus di mana laga Arsenal menjamu klub promosi Brentford menjadi pertandingan pembuka.
Setelah itu pada akhir pekannya, semua dari 18 peserta Liga Premier lainnya akan saling berhadapan.
Akan ada tiga jeda internasional selama musim gugur, masing-masing pada September, Oktober dan November di mana para pemain akan membela negaranya masing-masing dalam pertandingan kualifikasi Piala Dunia.
Piala Afrika atau Africa Cup of Nations dijadwalkan berlangsung dari 9 Januari 2022 sampai 6 Februari 2022.
Kemudian pada Februari bakal ada jeda musim dingin di mana sejumlah klub tidak bermain pada satu akhir pekan, sedangkan sekumpulan klub lainnya tidak bermain pada akhir pekan berikutnya.
Musim baru nanti akan berakhir pada 22 Mei 2022, sedangkan final Piala FA akan digelar satu pekan sebelum akhir musim Liga Premier.
Liga-liga di bawah Liga Premier, yakni Liga Championship, League One dan League Two, akan digelar lebih awal pada 7 Agustus 2021.
